Our bodies are under attack! Health and wellness are under attack!
Every day we are bombarded with so many things that are harmful to our health and wellbeing. Pesticides and chemicals that are used in farm produce are usually not washed off thoroughly so we ingest them every day. There is also a problem with polluted water sources, chances are we are drinking water that is contaminated already.
Pollution that we inhale from vehicles and factories every day is now a normal occurrence which is a price we have to pay for industrialization. Car sales have been growing which is the reason for traffic problems in major cities. This increases air pollution in crowded areas, especially during rush hour.
The modern diet is now full of “junk food” that has little to no nutritional value at all. Fast food and instant preparations are now being consumed by the majority of the people not mindful of the long-term effects of not eating healthy.
Stress has been a killer and we also lack exercise and sleep. Studies have shown that sleep deprivation can cause premature death. People are now busy with their gadgets for the whole day and are not engaging in physical activity anymore. These are the reasons why there are so many health problems nowadays.
We may have experienced a loved one getting diagnosed with a critical illness, living the rest of their lives in pain, spending a fortune on conventional medicine and eventually still losing their lives process. They leave their family in grief and sadly in debt due to the high cost of hospital confinement and synthetic medicine.
Cancer, Heart Disease, Diabetes, Obesity are among the top diseases that we encounter today due to poor and misinformed choices in diet and lifestyle.
When we start living the raw lifestyle there is a huge chance that we will not only solve these health problems but also prevent it.
The Bible says,
Hosea 4:6 “My people perish because of lack of knowledge.”
We should start educating people that real and natural is the way to go when it comes to our health and wellness as opposed to fake and synthetic products laced with chemicals that harm our bodies. We all know the saying that “Health is wealth” and in these days that we are living in, we know this to be true.
We can start by changing our lifestyle and be on the road to health and wellness. Diet is one of the pillars of a healthy lifestyle. Get rid of all the junk and processed food in our diet and shift to consuming fresh, natural and organic food.
Investing in water filters and air purifiers if you live in a highly polluted area will help if you have the budget.
Exercise should be a part of our new lifestyle. Walking at least 30 minutes a day can give a lot of benefits to our health and wellbeing. Walking or riding a bike to work may help lessen pollution and give us a good workout as well. Limit the time spent on gadgets and watching tv. A sedentary lifestyle will not get you anywhere on your path to wellness. Go out and be active, frequent places that are less polluted so that our bodies can charge up on the negative ions that we need.
Investing in natural food supplements can also give us long-term benefits when it comes to our health. If these are way over your budget, you can make juicing an alternative. This can also be a fun and delicious way to teach your kids to consume their fresh fruits and vegetables.
